We welcome you! Fresh Start is a gathering of people who are committed to help people know, love, and follow Jesus. We are NOT religious! We are RELATIONAL! We desire to be so related to Jesus that we can be relational to all who walk onto our campus. You can watch our Sunday broadcast live on Facebook at Fresh Start Foursquare Church at 10 AM. A delayed broadcast is available on YouTube at Fresh Start Foursquare Church. We also have a live broadcast on Facebook every Wednesday evening at 7 PM. Further information about Fresh Start can be found throughout this website.

At the bottom of our website is a DONATE button. Clicking on it will take you to a secure site where you can use your debit or credit card to give your tithes and offerings. We are also accepting donations made through ZELLE. Simply download the app, follow its setup instructions, and then send your donations to “freshstartfoursquarechurch@gmail.com”. Please type it just as it’s written. Then designate South Gate Foursquare Church as the recipient. Your giving goes directly into the church bank account. We are so excited - Fresh Start will be celebrating 100 years of ministry!! As we approach our anniversary date of 10/6/24, we invite you to participate in the ministry of Fresh Start and enjoy the amazing fellowship of our church. We have planned several different events leading up to the anniversary, so keep checking out the website.

**On the 4th Thursday of every month at 7 PM, we meet in our Family Center for Bible Study, ministry, and fellowship.**

Our Mission

Jesus commanded His church to tell the world about Him, equip people to enable them to obey Him, and to demonstrate His love in all that we do. Fresh Start is committed to these principles - we are called to help people KNOW, LOVE, AND FOLLOW JESUS!

Our Pastors

Revs. Mike and Terri Barnum have lovingly served Fresh Start as pastors for nearly 30 years. Pastor Mike also serves as a Chaplain for the South Gate Police Department. Pastor Terri helps lead our congregation in worship.

Our Ministries

We have a Spanish speaking congregation, Nuevo Comienzo, that meets every Sunday at 11:30 AM. Rev. Joel Bogart Moran is the pastor.

Our English speaking meetings are on Sunday at 10 AM and Wednesday nights at 7 PM (Facebook only).

Women's ministries

Our women come together on the last Saturday of every month for teaching, discipleship, encouragement, and fellowship. These meetings are at 10 AM.
